Trains of the Heartland DVD features:

• Available on the Internet exclusively from Blair Line. Filmed trackside by David E. Cash in the late 1960's--very early 1980's, all color, 90 minutes. Includes many rare Midwestern and Southeastern fallen flags in locations never before scene on a commercial DVD. David of Carthage, MO is a well known model railroader and railroad photographer with photo credits in many railroad books featuring Midwestern roads. David not only filmed the power but also included rolling stock and caboose shots from many of the trains. This is an excellent resource for the railfan or the modeler and was professionally produced for the Tri-State Model Railroad club in SW Missouri.

• POOL TRAINS 15:42--Includes power from the MoPac, Southern RR, Central of Georgia, Union Pacific and Seaboard Coast Line mostly shot in Carthage, MO on the Mopac's White River Sub. Also includes a Sperry Rail Services car and the ATSF Tulsan passenger train shot at Cherryvale, KS in 1968.
  
• FLYING SCOTSMAN 1:54--Shots of the Flying Scotsman on tour in the USA in June, 1970. Footage shot on the MKT between McAlester, OK and Muskogee, OK.
  
• SLSF (FRISCO) 13:34--Frisco power in both red/white and black/yellow cab, hood and B units. Shot in Carthage, MO on the Wichita line and in Springfield, MO and Tulsa, OK. Also includes shots of the NEO switcher.
  
• MOPAC (MISSOURI PACIFIC) 21:53--Mainly photographed in Carthage, MO with cab and hood units and an Alco switcher by Mopac mostly in blue but with a little yellow/gray Missouri Pacific. Also includes power by C&EI, Alton & Southern, Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, Norfolk Western, MKT, and Rio Grande tunnel motor. Also includes Mopac passenger trains in Kansas City, MO.
  
• MKT (Katy) 7:14--Filmed in Parsons, KS all red MKT switchers, cab units, hood units and those odd GM rebuilds of Alco units.
  
• KCS (Kansas City Southern) 9:37--Shots from Neosho, MO and Joplin, MO area in red, white and passenger paint schemes. Includes the Southern Belle in action at Joplin, MO and Neosho. Rare footage of a baby Trainmaster in Neosho and a KCS switcher in black at Kansas City, MO. Also includes BN power on coal trains.
  
• KANSAS CITY 19:53--Footage shot in Kansas City includes a wide variety of power and roads in both freight and pre-Amtrak passenger service. Includes freight trains of the Norfolk Western, Milwaukee Road, Kansas City Terminal, BN, Chicago Great Western cow and calf, Union Pacific, Rock Island with hood and cab units. Includes passenger trains of the GM&O and MoPac. Both freight and passenger from the Santa Fe in blue/yellow and warbonnet. Also includes power from the Erie Lackawanna, CB&Q black and red/gray, Great Northern in orange/green and blue/white, Penn Central and Seaboard Coast Line in green/yellow and black. And the EMD SD-45 demo unit makes an appearance too.
  
• MISC. SHOTS-- Side rod diesel switcher working at Humboldt, KS cement plant. TRRA in along the river in St. Louis, MO. Small switcher at work in Sand Springs, OK. And few shots of the BN and UP in Carthage, MO.
